Rifaat Backyard Art Studio

The Rifaat Art Studio is a premium ASUNTO 8 x 12 Backyard Studio extra-height build package. It features an extra 1.5′ of height on the front wall to allow for an above-door transom window and includes two 3′ x 3′ vinyl slider windows, wood panel interior walls and ceiling, and exterior Hardie Plank siding matching the home finishing. Because the site is a low point in the yard and the soil is made up of primarily clay, we ensured a solid foundation by digging down over the whole building footprint 20″ and infilling it with gravel, and adding additional foundation blocks at the centre of the short walls and in the centre of the building.
